Wooden Button students help prepare a healthy snack during each class. Class mealtimes follow a simple routine:

Monday: rice with seaweed, sunflower seeds, and sauce
Tuesday: vegetable soup
Wednesday: bread with honey butter
Thursday: oatmeal with cream and maple syrup

fruit is served daily

Our students help by bringing ingredients for the mealtimes, inviting them into the creative process and fostering a sense of ownership of their meals. For example, at the start of the week each child brings a vegetable to add to the soup.
